Problem with inline moderation...
 
I have a real problem here...

What happens?
The inline moderation is "not working" in some ways, for example, editing a title in showforum, it edits all ok, but when you reload (f5) this haven't been saved... it happens in some forums, not all of them, i've compared one that works and one that doesn't and there is no difference... so is not a configuration/permission thing...

I have tried with the default theme, and neither is this the problem. too have actualized from 3.7.2 to 3.7.3pl1 (uploading all files except images) so this is not a problem with a .php file...

I've been installing some mods lately, but I think I get the guilty one 'Moderator Checkpoint System' I tried to install it, but I can't finish it (problems with template edits) so I uninstalled it... I've checked the .xml file and those are the actions that do installing that plugin:

Well, that's the only plugin that affects the area where i've problems (moderation actions in showforum)

I don't know what to do, but I own a large forum, and is a problem can edit titles by showforum....

Sometimes it takes a bit of time to save the edit, just wait for about 10 seconds before you reload and it should save.

I just tried it now, i've waited about 30 seconds, and have the same problem... :(

To troubleshoot this, please create a new Style with no Parent set. Now browse the forum using this new style, do you still have the same problems?

If your problem still exists, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

If so, disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

Have you tried looking in your error_logs to see if there is an error being generated? Is it consistent in which forums it works in and which it does not - ie. it always works in forums 1,2, and 3, but never in forums 4,5, and 6?

yes, it's always consistent, forum 1 always work, forum 2 always doesnt....

On my site, the error_logs are in /home/mysite/logs

Do you have any modifications that only affect some forums and not others? As for the Moderation Checkpoint System, did this problem with moderation just start when you tried to install it? The table alters would affect all the forums, so I don't think that is it.

Hey, finally I discovered where is the problem it's with the titles with an "ñ" a tipycal spanish character, we changed our server for a better one, and I'guess the problem will be in the ymsql configuration or something... do you know what exactly is?
