How about if Announcements and Sticky/Important articles got floated up to the top for searches? Also, it would be nice if the "Announcement:" and "Important:" text tags got prepended to these posts in searches, too.

I think it would be pretty useful and practical. Take the whole "parse error" issue that's on this board right now. I'm sure that most people come and use the "View New Posts" feature on the front page to see new posts. Having announcements and sticky/important posts float up to the top with the text tags prepended would make these "important" threads that much easier to find and view...
