Registration problem > can't display next page
 

Hello there,

I have a weird problem. Some of the new users who want to register get a "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" page after submitting their registration form. Some, not all. I myself get it too when attempting to register with a new username.

Try disabling your plugins and then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

If you don't get the problem after turning them all off, then turn them on one-by-one until you do get the problem. This should help you figure out which plugin is causing the problem.

Also, you may want to look in your error_logs and see if there is anything in there (probably not, but you never know).

The Validate E-mail Add-on is probably the issue. By deactivating it, users could register again. I succeeded too. Looking for an alternative for this mod. Thx again Lynne!
