email before register
 

most site have the same problem of people register with fake emails would be nice if there was a hack that when they click to register take them to a page where they enter email then they get a link to register his username and other info .

something like this maybe will help stop bounce emails because people will not use fake emails any more after vb sites start using a system like this.

How would this be better then the default system with email verification enabled?

is just my opinion for me would be better because for example every week i have around 80 to 150 people waiting for confirmation .
after a system like I describe before people wont waste time register with a fake email because first need a code that they would get by email with out that code cant register .
in a week i would not have people to delete or move because of emails in few months people would know better than try to register with fake emails .
this is my opinion and I wish my English was better to explain with more detail so it make sense.

Even with a code, that code must be registered in a table. This table would need the same cleaning as the regular user table.

Just Mass Prune the users in the Awaiting Email Confirmation usergroup once a week for users that registered longer then a week ago.
