Scheduled Tasks not running - Low page views

Most of my Scheduled tasks fail to run, I don't have that many users so I am guessing that's why. The only ones that run are 'Thread Views Updated' and 'Hourly Cleanup #1 Completed'. I am guessing that is due to the cron.php not running frequently enough, it is still on my home page. Is it possible to use a cron job on my server to execute the cron.php? If so any ideas on the command as I think I need to use Curl?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Regards
Pete

I had an issue with tasks not running on my board a few months ago. I was running a beta at the time. When 3.7 went gold i finally upgraded and it just fixed the problem.

I am running 3.7.3, but then again I did transfer servers. I will ask the chap who used to run the forum if the scheduled tasks used to run.
Cheers

make sure $cronimage is in the footer template and make sure the database user has the correct permissions set on the database (Should be set to ALL)

If some are running, then all should run. The only reason a few don't work would be if they exit with an error.

Can you provide a bit more info (screenshot of your Scheduled Tasks?).

Images attached. 1 of the scheduled tasks list and the other the log. Hope that gives some clues.

By the looks of that, it seems all is running.

Interesting as the RSS posts wont work for one. Why when I hhave the option ticked wont the task log show all the tasks that ave run?
The rss tasks are set to run every 10 mins and they are never listed in the task list log. If I run the task manually from the rss feed manager I get the message that says RSS Poster , RSS Feed manager , Done. But no posts show up. If I edit the rss feeds and preview te feed then I can see the info that should be posted.

I was guessing that RSS feeds were low priority so if I didnt get many visitors the task wouldn't execute?

The feed is http://www.blackpoolcitizen.co.uk/news/blackpool/rss/

Any ideas?
Thanks

Priority is based on next Scheduled time. Check the jobs that do not show in the log, if are set to log their action.

As Marco said, not all the Scheduled Tasks are set to log in the Scheduled Task Log by default which is why many of them are not showing in your log.
