Highlight Threadstarter (in his Posts/Replies)
vB 3.6 | vB 3.7 | vB 3.8
A big update of the old version for vB 3.6: Mark Threadauthor (in his other posts) ;) Description: With this modification the starter of a thread will be highlighted in his posts/replies by a small text or/and a graphic. This has the for example the advantage that you also know on page 2,3,4,5,... who has started the thread. Secondary this mod still has many other options, so that you should be able to customize this mod like you wish. :) Settings

On my vBulletin 3.7.3 board it is working well. On my buggy test forum (there are a lot of bugs because of code changes) with vBulletin 3.7.1 it doesn't work. :o
So I need a few persons that say me if it is working or not. ;) |
did someone release the exact same thing like 1 day ago?
how is yours different? |
Hi FreshFroot,
yes, I saw it. But I have released an older version of this mod 5 months ago. :o So I started to develop the new version one week ago and this was fortune, that an other person has released a mod like this. ;) But I think that there are many differences between this two mods. I haven't tested the other yet. :o The codes and the settings are completely different ;) And settings like "Excluded Usergroups", "Excluded Forums" and "Display Location" are not available in the other mod. ;) You can look at the pictures... Greetings. P.S. And because this mod is much more older than the other one i hope that there aren't as many bugs... - I hope :D |
I use postbit_legacy and it's not working at all for me.
This mod is definitely better executed and has better options than the one recently released, if only I could get it working! |
In my situation it does not work for users who have the blog stats displayed in postbit_legacy.
Uninstalled for now |
I could find a use for this in my forum, if it had a setting for "allowed forums".
Currently I would have to enter almost all my forums in the "excluded forums" list to use it... |
@abrecher & crkgb
Sorry - I have to fix this problem. :( Has anybody an idea why it doesn't work? :o @Michelle: That is easy. ;) Search for Code:
!in_array($this->forum['forumid'], $GLOBALS['thrdauth_excl_forums'])) Optional: Edit the phrases from excluded forums to included forums (or sth like this) cu |
Ok - Version 2.0.1 with the fix released.
I hope it is working now. ;) |
