but all doesnt works, all pages still get white color, no skin color

please help what i need to do, i believe this is not related to custom hack or database corrupt, all is fine after restored only the skin not showing

make sure your vbulletin_css folder is set to 0777 if you are storing style sheets.

Its in the includes folder

yes i am storing style sheets like vbulletinsetup.com instruction http://forum.vbulletinsetup.com/f7/v...on-tips-2.html

i had chmod 777 in clientscript/vbulletin_css folder before

Quote:

1. Store CSS StyleSheets as Files

By default, vBulletin will store the CSS of your pages as HTML within the head of the document. This, when taken over thousands of pages, can be quite a heavy burden.

Storing CSS Stylesheets as files will allow users/spiders to cache the CSS as a file, and make each page smaller, HTML wise, giving your server a bit of a breather.

To begin, ensure your forums/clientscript/vbulletin_css directory is chmod 777 so the stylesheet files can be created.
Next, in the AdminCP, select the vBulletin Options menu then vBulletin Options.
Select Style and Language Options.
Set "Store CSS Stylesheets as Files?" to Yes.
Click Submit.

any other solution guys??

I replied to your post on vb.com. Put the style sheets back in the page and see if they work.

Also make sure that you not only chmod the directory, but also any existing files inside that directory.

PS If you are following instructions from another website, then you should ask there if the instructions are not clear or not working.
