Very easy stupid stuff :p

1) When a new user registers, I want to require him to upload a picture before he can register AND select what type of profession he is in from a list.

2) when a user does a search for a term and that term is in a sticky thread, I want those to be the first result.

Can this be done without code?

No, it requires code...and quite a bit of it.

Might I ask what makes you think this is easy? or even stupid?

Perhaps in future the title of your posts can reflect the content of your post

the only one that i know you can required to force to selected will be the "profession". And that can be done in user profile manager select yes to "field required" but to emphasize on that it can only be done by registering ..all other have to be coded.

hope that helps;)

what are you talking about? sounds like you're trying to show me up or something.

He is just stating you should use more descriptive thread titles in future. :D

Anyway on topic, as previously stated requiring someone to upload a photo is more difficult, typically vBulletin sets up all its registration before a person can upload. I haven't seen a modification that does what you are asking, you may find something searching the modification section.

For your second point, see the post #3.
