Flash Status icon
 

Hello,

i have created a new "forum_new" status flash icon. i am using the default vb template.... my question is how do i make the template load my "forum_new.swf" instead of "forum_new.gif"?

I think you could use replacement variables to do that. I haven't tried that (obviously), but you might want to try that and see.

You could probably use replacement variables like Lynne suggested, you'll need to know the code to replace which is in forumhome templates.

You may also replace the code directly with the flash code and save the overhead caused by replacement variables (its very small but sometimes every bit helps)

You'll need to use the forumhome_forumbit_level templates. Not sure the exact onces that will need to be changed.
