Which users read the admin-sent emails?

hello.

Which mod allows the admin to have any idea of how many users did actually read the admin-sent emails ? (that the email did not bounce and was not sent to the junk folder)

It is impossible to know... a system like this would require that you have access to the administration section of each of these mail systems, to read the logs...

If you want those kinds of features, you need to look at enterprise level mailing list software, which can run into 1000s of dollars. And there is a way to cheekily see if your mail was marked as spam, involving curl and sending yourself the email last. However, that will not guarentee anything.

thank you very much for your kind feedback.

this leaves me rather frustrated as my announcer is requiring to have an idea about how many users are actually receiving the email........

is not there any simple way ??

No. If you have your own exclusive internet line powering your site (and I don't mean a dedicated box, I mean a dedicated line) you can use a special service by MSN to track how many emails are hitting users inboxes (roughly), but no other email provider gives you this data.

your announcer request too much... there is no such way to track all and everything on the internet... even if you have a pay-per-click ads on your site, there is no real way to be sure that the members you have would receive the message if they click...
