Ajax and IE 8
I was bored today so I decided to try out Internet Explorer 8 beta. I noticed that anything ajax would not work with it. What could be causing this? The one good thing about IE 8 is there is a button for incompatible sites so after clicking that the ajax worked fine.
I am wondering if this is a bug in IE 8 or what.. If anyone has input on this please reply. |
They probably change how to start the ajax call again in IE 8. If you are using YUI or another javascript library, they might have updated it already or planning on doing it very soon.

I think they have a backwards compatability feature in IE8 to let sites that work in IE7 work in IE8 to.

yeah Opserty they do, that's why I didn't feel it was a huge issue. however I'm sure there are many people who don't even realize what that button does.
