[suggestion] OpenSearch feature

hi,
Why don't you add an OpenSearch feature for vb.org?
more info here:

It may be more helpful if you explained what it is, what it does and most importantly, why there should be such a feature.

Firstly, if you're wanting this implemented in vBulletin, then you will need to suggest this over at vbulletin.com.

Secondly, they have a search feature here.

vBulletin.com

I've heard that here doesn't have full control over the board...

He ask for vB to implement a Searchbot
he can learn to use properly the Search feature since the OpenSearch uses it

Well, basiclly it adds a feature to the web browser to add the current site to its search engine list so that he can easly search for content from the browser interface quickly

No I don't want that .
I just suggest this as an extra functionality in vbulletin.org so that users can search for hacks an articles quickly

Sorry, in this case you are wrong...
Even the 'OpenSearch' [whith less functions than the SEARCH Feature] goes directly to the search.php so what is the use?

And again, Mods doesn't have Admin powers [I've been told] and even they don't act at request... Capish?

I really doubt we will ever implement this on vB.org.

If any changes to the search are made, then Google search, or using Sphinx search would have more chance of ever being implemented.

Hmmm, Ok

Thanks guy for your replies
