Make paid subscriptions take user out of usergroup at end of subscription

Well, i thought it already did this because of what i read on this forum, but it turns out that it doesnt! i have 4 people currently paying and 11 people in the usergroup you only get into if you buy something!

how do i make it so payed subscriptions take you out of the group at the end of the subscription lenght?

actualy i just noticed that the paid subscriptions thing is totaly screwed up!

people payed not too long ago but it doesnt say in paid subscriptions

When the subscription ends users should be moved out of the paid usergroup automaticaly. If this doesn't happen start by checking if your Scheduled Tasks are running.

its not working at all!

I have a similar problem.

Basically I have two paid subscriptions set up.

1. membership
2. renewal

basically you have to become a member (lasts a year) and once that becomes near the end of their membership, they can pay to renew (another year).

How can i set this up properly so after the end of their renewal they go back to "registered user" and not stay as "club member"

I also have other users set with other primary usergroups, so I don't want admin, moderators etc to have "club member" as their primary usergroup.

Any ideas would be most welcome as I want to make sure this is set up properly and that they will downgrade properly too.

thanks

My schedule Tasks are working. What is the specific cron task that is responsible for subscription validity. Maybe I don't have this?
I have tested for one user and it does not deactivate his subscription after the subscription period ended.
So the user still is in Payed subscription users group after end of subscription.
