Image Verification no longer working
 

Hi there, I have recently moved server, but I am now no longer able to display the image verification image when someone tries to register.

Is there something that is required for this to work.

The image won't load at all, and just shows the alt text (even when refreshing the image)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have removed the image verification and replaced it with questions. I would still like to know of this issue though, could it be down to the software on my new server, or that some files have been left on my old server after the migration??

Make sure the new server has either GD or ImageMagick installed and set the vB options accordingly.

PS With GD you must also ensure that the correct fonts are loaded.

Yes, the new server just has a different path to GD and IM and you need to find it and change it. Shoot tech support at your new host an email and ask what the path is.

Or, just don't bother. CAPTCHA was broken over a year ago and I don't even use it any longer as it just makes it harder for real people.
