Making a subforum/category that requires a minimum post count to enter
 

Hello,

Can anyone explain to me how I would make a sub-forum/category on my site that required N number of posts to see thread content, where N is a variable i can set?

The best way to do this is setup usergroups. You'll need a usergroup that can't post in the certain forum which should be set to default for new users, then create another group that can post in there. You then need to setup promotions so once the user hits x amount of post, they are promoted to the group that can post there.
