How about - instead of drop down PREFIX'S - a drop down (mandatory) TAG per thread?
 

I got all excited about PREFIXES

But then have had gripes from forum members about how they make looking at thread titles a pain

And I have a gripe - the prefixes show up in the RSS feed data for new threads (also making them harder to read)

And my moderators havent gotten into the forum tagging as much as I had hoped..

So....

How about a mandatory TAG (from an admin defined TAG list) per new thread?

From a drop down menu?

Can the PREFIX function be hacked to ad a TAG (Zoints?) to each new thread instead of a PREFIX?

OK - I am wondering if this has been done already (I bet it has) - if not wanted to get the idea out there.
