increase text area width
 

Iv'e tried editing in stylevars and in editor templates but cant seem to increase the width of my text area box.

Here's how it is now:

as you can see I want the text area to fill up all the available space Any help would be great!

This looks like ecdownloads. I don't have that issue, are you using a fixed style?

Also, have you edited your SHOWTHREAD or showthread_quickreply templates with any mods?

I had that issue in the past, but can't remember which caused that issue for me.

The space to the right is for smilies.

Yes im using a fixed style. Ah ok it makes sense, yes I removed one of the templates for the smilies as I didnt want them there. I have edited some "Editor templates", I completely wiped "editor_smiliebox_row". Do you have any ideas what I would need to edit?

You didn't remove enough of the editor_smiliebox_row.
