Invalid SQL error after update 3.7.2 patch level 2

This is a serious concern. I have version 3.6.8 and have been following the instructions as they come in to update. Everything has been running fairly smooth on my forum until today. I checked my admins email and discovered vBulletin errors coming in at a rate of about 1 per minute after around 11:00 am. I could still login so I went to the admin cp and checked for updates and found the latest version 3.7.2 patch level 2 and downloaded it to my hard drive and unzipped it and then ftped the files to the same folders on my server. I think it was admincp and includes or something like that. Also I turned off my forum before I ftped the files over. Now when I try to login I get the vBulletin database error screen with this additional yellow box of information at the bottom of the screen. Here is the information that I am getting. Can you please help me solve this issue? I am very very worried. I have done a backup about every month or so, but really don't want to have to go back to last months members entries. That would cause many of them to loose interest. The yellow information is included in the data quote attachment.

Please help.

Did you run the upgrade.php script?

Thanks for your response. I just did that a while back and finally got into the admin cp, but when I logged out and tried to go to my forum I got the same error screen. Any ideas of what I should do next?

Did you make sure you ran through the whole script (ie. all steps)?
