Mod Request: Message for Users Ressurecting Old Threads
 

Hi all,

I want a mod to display a message to our users when he/she is posting to a thread that hasn't been active for the past x days/month/years. For example, displaying a message saying "Hey this thread hasn't been active for the past 2 years, are you sure that you want to post on this thread? Please only post here is you really have something to add to this discussion".

The goal is to avoid silly messages like "hey, anyone could help me with this" on messages over 6 months old, which put the message on the top of the message list without necessity.

Better yet, just close the darn things after x days. There's no good reason for them to remain open.
