Email Reminder For Mods
Just wanted to let you know that I've got an email reminder 4 days in a row for a modification that was updated.
Obviously there is no reason to send me 4 emails on this, as I already got the first one. You might want to check your global settings or something, as I highly doubt the author has made a change 4 days in a row on that modification. |
a lot of coders have updated their first post lately just to make these emails sent ... this is becoming very harassing... and we have to drop all these downloaded/installed mods by hand... i'd like a setting about "deactivate the status engine completely"...

We received 1 more complaint about 'ghost' notifications, we will investigate this.

- An update of the first post is not connected to sending out update emails. - You can already disable receiving update notification in your user profile settings. |

It was Email For Inactive Users modification for 3.6 for me. I appreciate the notification, just not 4 of them 4 days in a row, just unnecessary and redundant. |
I think for that modification, the author was working on it over the weekend and making many updates as there were a few errors. Obviously he would want people to know about fixes as they happen?

We used a test account to see if it would send out email reminders and it never did. lolz I think we'll just remove it. |
