I am thinking that I am ready to get some feedback on my site

It is still kind of new and there are a few things that I know that I still need to fix
but I would love some constructive criticism.

My site is about Crime and other aspects related to it

Please let me know what you think, Don't hold back

I would love to make it perfect but alot comes down to personal choice

If you are able to have a look at it in different browsers that would be great as I have not tested all of them. I have been using firefox during the set up.

hi dadoc, just saw your board ... it looks pretty nice and clean ... however i don't like the html markup that you put onto the usernames ... imho you put too many colors ...

also i love your right column ... and i saw an interesting header, but it seems that the buttons aren't centered in the page ... :)

another thing, i don't love your status icons ... but this isn't a trouble ... :)

I like the HTML legend/markup, very sharp-looking on the black skin.

The floating register thing bugs me, though.

All those boxes that scrolll with the users do is cover up your content and annoy the hell out of your guests. Annoying people is not usually the way to get them to join your site.

You know that floating register thing is something that I dont like and it must go

I am not sure how effective it is anyway.

does anyone think that it is good for getting new members?

Because members here are familiar with forums and how they operate most dont like the floating register box.

What is your opinion about its effectiveness to get members to join?

For example if a guest visits a site for the first time and they have never seen a forum or know what it is all about, Do you think it would encourage them to join?
