I'm running vbulletin 3.7.2 and I need help to put category icons. I found some hack but not working, and I don't understand the prefix (tried many ways, and still nothing)
I'm the nub in this and please can somebody tells me where i make wrong?

Are you talking about category icons or forum icons?

The prefixes in the Forum Manager thing is what you need then (as you said in the first post).

Just enter into the box (without the quotes): "abc_"

Then for your images you have:
  • abc_forum_new.gif
  • abc_forum_old.gif
Nothing really that hard about it. :)

Thanks for your support...
Maybe I made mistake with pixels ( must be exactly 29*30 or can be smaller)

Follow my instructions:
Quote:

Just enter into the box (without the quotes): "abc_"
Once you have done that, you exit Admin Control Panel because you don't need to change anything for that forum anymore. Then you create your own images, name your image files:
  • abc_forum_new.gif
  • abc_forum_old.gif
(If you click the "?" icon located on the same row as the input box, in the AdminCP, it will show you the help message).

Thank you very much. Now I know where I made mistakes all time. Seems you must rely point with the finger some time.
All time I put in prefix the full name of icons, realy stupid from me. Probably the dash after abc confuse me.
Thanks again for your support, you guys are the best.
