Smilie Problem

I have installed many Smilies... However, when i decided to delete them, and through a complex process which will get this discussion no where... They kept appearing afterward! Now i have my Smilie Group, and it says it has zero smilies in it! Yet they are still there! IS there any way to reset the database, or reset this!
