Update usergroup cache

Basically, I have a script, which changes a few users usergroup (in a loop). This works great, but thier title reamains the same on the board due to the cache.

I have updated a users usergroup in the database, but now I want to update the cache for that user.

I have tried numerous things, but nothing seems to work.

can anyone point me in the right direction? It must be a simple statement...
