Forums to different subdomains
 

Hi all,
I manage a vBulletin forum updated to 3.6.8 versione Patch Level 1 and are installed the plugin
vBSEO 3.0.0., vBSEO Sitemap, Zoints Tags and a few others.

I'am thinking to move all my forums to different subdomains because very different subjects are treated.

For example I want that site/forum/car and sito/forum/dog become car.site e dog.site.

Assuming having already created all the 50 subdomain, how moving all the forums and threads to their subdomains?

It's fundamental that every thread be redirected individually and not all togheter.

For example site/forum/car/the-best-dodge.html must be redirected with a 301 or similar to car.site/the-best-dodge.html.

And the plugins cna give me problems? It care me a lot the vBSEO Sitemap; would it continue to work finding all the threads?

I would continue to use one database so the license would continue to work?

And as a last thing, if a day I would like to move again all the threads to their subfolder there would be any problems?

Threads/Forums/etc.. are not located in directories but in the database.

Well you can not move (parts of) a database into directories.
