IP Ban

Dear vb.org members,

I need for a vBulletin 3.73 forum a good IP Ban script, I have searched in the mod database but I couldn't find a good one. If someone knows/have one, can you post it here please?

No modification needed.

AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> User Banning Options -> Banned IP Addresses

Actually,

It would be tremendously helpful to have a mod that automatically adds a person's ip address to the list (in purple above) when they are added to the Banned usergroup, without having to do this manually each time I ban someone (usually a bot).

Best Regards,

AO

How would the automated script know that the IP needed to be banned? Do you have a criteria set ?

Maybe a problem description of what you are trying to solve would help.

Why do you need an IP ban to start with. Adding the IP of every member you ban to the list is not really usefull and will only slow your board down (minimal) when the list gets large. And what about an IP used by mulitple members?

Just as an example i think we only have around 10 IP's on the banlist of vB.org, and most of these could even be removed.

Good points.
