Admin permissions problem
 
So what i want is for my admins to be able to ban members but not make them admins and mods... what can i do ?

Crap... but is there a way to make a admin able to ban users but not make them admins and mods ?

I'm not understanding this. On one hand you ask if an admin can ban, but then you say you don't want them to be an admin. Yes, an Admin can ban if they are an Admin. A Mod can ban if that is one of the permissions you have given the Mod.

If you are wondering about a regular user being able to ban, take a look at the code for the One-touch Spam Ban and Cleanup mod cuz in that you can give regular users the power to ban spammers.

the one tich ban clean up can admins use it without any permission change ?

Admins (those in the administrator usergroup) can ban users by default, so yes, they can ban users using the hack I linked to.

I think he wants admins able to ban but not administer usergroups.
