make a specified forum 'first post in other words the thread is editable for everyone who is a registered member.

more or less a bit like wiki.

how can I achieve this idea or this just a pipe dream :)

Hey,

I am wondering about this as well...you are talking about something akin to Slickdeals' "wikipost," correct? If anybody has an idea of how to do this, it'd be awesome!

You mean, any registered user can edit any post or thread on the forum, regardless of whether they did/didn't make it?
