Modification Guideline
 

Hi,

I am real new here. So just checking if there is any rule for making any modification. Also I can't figure out if it is a modificaion or just a simple change. Can anyone please suggest me?

I saw a few request for making contact us form submit it as a thread. I also like the idea. So what I did is, I made the contact us form submit the message to a thread rather than in mail. So where should it be posted if allowed?

I was looking for Mod guideline, but couldn't find any. If I missed anything can anyone point me there? :D

I don't know that I've ever seen rules. In general, you pick the correct forum to post in based on the version you wrote the modification for (version 3.0, 3.6, or 3.7) and then whether it is an add-on (a product with code changes) or a template mod (only a change in templates). After you fill out the thread info, you get taken to a form where you pick things like the category (see the drop-down at the top of the modification forums) and things like whether you support it, if others can use the code, etc.

Hmm, then it's not that difficult. :D
