Attachment Download Limit restrictions.
 

Is there a mod out,. that can help me limit the amount of attachment downloads by KB/MB done per time interval based on user type and attachment type for 3.7?

I've seen a download limit mod that limits the number of individual attachments as a whole but not one that will limit a combined usage ie 10Megs total per day/hour etc.

This is an Old fashioned BBS standard from my days of renegade/Teleguard Sysoping,. I'm a bit surprised it's not included, or have I totally missed the option in admin?:confused:

There is seriously no mod or feature built in to Vbulletin that can regulated the downloading of attachments?

Am I the only one wondering how the product could be 3.7 and still not have this feature?

I can't recall seeing anything like what you are wanting.

As for it not being included, you have to realize that not everyone has the same needs from vb as you do. Many forums only use attachments as a very small part of what they need/want in a forum and they are probably glad (or certainly not unhappy) that this feature isn't included cuz it would just be something else they would need to turn off.
