Forum Display & Postbit Legacy Problems
I'm having a couple of style problems. If anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it.
The style itself, by the way, has been heavily modified. (Which is how I managed to mess it up.) First: The "Replies" & "Views" are not lining up correctly in the forum display. You can see it in the first image attachment. This is happening in all browsers. Second: The postbit legacy cells are all over the place. It's really wide for one poster, but really thin for another. The width seems to stay the same for each individual poster (i.e., Bob's is always wide, Tim's is always thin, and Kate's is always somewhere in between). This is only happening in Internet Explorer, and only when logged in. For guests it appears just fine. I tried attaching the relevant templates, but it wouldn't allow me. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix these problems? Thanks! |
The forumdisplay template is missing the "Last Post" heading in the row of headings.
The left column on the postbit_legacy template requires you to set a width for the left cell. |
I appreciate your reply, Opserty. Thanks!
I have a width="200" in there, but apparently it's in the wrong place, or I need more of them. I'll try attaching part of the postbit_legacy template again. Code:
<table id="post$post[postid]" class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="1" border="0" width="100%" align="center"> |
200 will probably be too small try making it wider. Does it work any better?
(Increase it in 50 or 100 intervals) |
It worked at 250, so I started backward in intervals of ten. Got it down to 210. Just ten pixels were messing it up.
Thanks again, Osperty! Now I'll try to fix that Last Post thing. |
