Inline Edit Custom Fileds that are displayed on postbit?
 

Is it possible to have custom fields that I have on the postbit editable inline, with ajax? Much the same way you can edit threadtitles by double clicking on it.

Is it possible, and how would I go abut doing it?

i suppose that can be possible, by duplicating the exact same process from the new profile...

but in my opinion would require too much ajax lines to be efficient... the html would be overloaded with more elements from each customfields.

do you thin there is a simpler way to do edit these fields without having to go into the user's profile?

Nex meant that a good place to start would probably be by duplicating the method used on the 3.7 profile pages, where a user can edit their fields in-line.

Thhese fields aren't available for users to edit, the staff will update them, so just now they would have to go into the modcp and update each profile, what I want them to be able to do is edit the values in the postbit.
