Affiliate Banner Advert & Security Token Error

Aplogies if this isn't the right forum for ths query. Have tried vbulletin.com but couldn't get any help.

Have recently upgraded to 3.7.2 & am trying out the new advert location templates.

I have successfully added the code for Adsense but when I try & use the code for banner adverts provided by an Affiliate Network, I'm hitting problems if it includes a search form & get Security Token errors. My forum is travel related so banners to search on dates etc. are important.

For one of these banners the code is an html form which collects the search criteria input by the user & sends this to my own simple php script (on another website) which creates the url for the advertiser's site. I think that I may need to add some code to both the form & the php script. Is that right? As one of the responses I received was:

"You should only get a security token error if the form submits to your vBulletin files or a file that includes vBulletin code. If they submit to another site or files that do not include vBulletin code then it shouldn't trigger the error."

but I really don't under what this means.

The above example uses my own custom code for the form & script to process it (so I can change it if necessary) but most times the code is provided by the Affiliate network e.g. Commission Junction, Tradedoubler etc. & may be an html form but calling a script on their servers or the whole thing may be in javaScript. Whichever I cannot & must not change it.

Here is the code supplied by Trade Doubler (an affiliate network) for a banner for ebookers (I've just changed my affiliateid):

HTML Code:

<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://impgb.tradedoubler.com/imp?g(973608)a(123456)"
charset="ISO-8859-1">
</script>

Any ideas?

Thanks.
