Hack Support

vBulletin Version Compatibility

This hack can be used with v3.6.10 and v3.7.x. This has not been tested with earlier versions of v3.6.x, but should work.


What Does This Hack Do?

A simple hack that will display an option to ignore a user in the postbit (or postbit legacy) dropdown menu (see screenshots for a visual example).

This will not show up in your own posts, as you would not really want to try ignoring yourself.

This hack is fully phrased.


Installation Instructions

1. Import the ms_ignore_user_postbit.xml into vB using the AdminCP Product Manager. If upgrading from an earlier version, then set Allow Overwrite to Yes.
2. That's it, enjoy !!!

Uninstall Instructions

1. Uninstall the product in vB using the AdminCP Product Manager.

question: i am using a nuhit postbit. what are the hooks I have to add on it.

You need to add $template_hook[postbit_user_popup] where you want it to display in the nuhit postbit template, as that is the template hook this hack relies on to work.

Top mod - thanks. Wee question that I think I know the answer to, but anyway to override the 'cant' ignore an admin/mod'?

I doubt it. But I could be wrong, if I am I will post back here, if I don't, then you can assume there is no way.
