Banner ad software config by forum?
 

I currently use vB 3.7.2 and Openads 2.0.11-pr1. I simply put the Openads script in the Header, so it appears on every part of the forum.

I would like to do "regional" and forum specific banners for some advertisers. Is there a product or easy way to config advertising according to which forum you are in?

am I asking in the wrong forum or there really is nothing out there? openads still the best banner ad software for vB? thanks.

People may be unfamiliar with openads and what you can do with it. You may want to ask this question on their forums. All I can suggest is to do a condition based on the $forumid, but since I don't know openads at all, I have no idea if that would work.

Thanks. Yes, OpenAds (formerly phpAds) is just a pointer script inserted where you want, in my case the header. Long conditions could be setup and based on the forum you are in that would determine the banner ad set you display from OpenAds. That is manually intensive though, the optimal solution would be a more integrated banner ad software that vB passes the forum id to just one banner ad set and it is configured which banner ads can be displayed for that forum.

So no other recommendations on banner ad software integrated with vB besides OpenAds?

I don't have ads on any of my forums, so I can't recommend anything. Someone else may come along that could recommend something, although I'm not sure the thread title would invite them to come in and comment about that so if that is your question, you may want to start another thread.
