Pagenav/Drop Down Issues

While doing some templating, I noticed that if a thread has the pagenav template, or even in the edit avatar page and the drop down's on the navigation... the drop down, if clicked, does not drop down. If that made any sense.

I'll try to explain it a bit better in case it didn't. You go to a thread that has more than one page to it. You want to go to the thread tools. So you click on the thread tools link and nothing happens.

Or, another example, you are editing your avatar and looking through the categories. So you go to a category that has way more than just one page. You then decide that you wanna go to check your Sent PMs, but the drop down for that link does not work.

I haven't edited the pagenav template at all, and I'm not sure what the problem could be. Yes, I did edit the showthread template, but if that's where the mistake is then why is it also happening in the user cp?

I would post a template but I wouldn't know which one to post. So let me know if I need to.

Thanks in advance for helping!

Oh yeah, and I'm using 3.7.2 PL1

First, try to create a new default style. Then check in that one if you can reproduce the error(s). If yes, then it doesn't depend by your template edits.

Okay just did that. It worked fine in the default style. So you think I may have taken something out that is important for the drop downs to work?

Yes, you have to compare your modified templates with the default ones, checking for missing parts. To do this, when you're in your modified template, to the left click on "[Show Default]". :)

Alright I haven't tried that yet, but I did try reverting both SHOWTHREAD and postbit_legacy and modifyavatar and I still have the same problems. I will do what you suggested now, but if this new information gives you any clues, please let me know!

By the way, thanks so much for trying to help me!

Nevermind, I found the problem was in my navbar template. It's all fixed now. :) Thread can be closed.

What does it was, exactly? :)

I took out too much in the navbar template. Not too sure what part it was, but I got it.
