Add vBa CMPS/LINKS permissions AdminCP menu

*/ Add vBa CMPS/LINKS permissions AdminCP menu

Tested on:
vBulletin. v3.5 - v3.7
vBAdvanced CMPS Portal 2.x - 3.x
vBAdvanced LINKS ?? (not tested)**
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello out there in the land of vBAdvanced CMPS Portal/LINKS (vbadvanced.com).
This hack gives setting whether an admin will be able to access the vBa CMPS/LINKS section of the Admin Control Panel. Thank you, Brian and vBA crew for your time and energy invested in CMPS Portal and LINKS.
Each add-on adds:
2 File edits (vba files)
1 file upload
1 product import
- adds COLUMN to administrator table
- adds 4 plugins
- adds 3 Control Panel phrases
EX: CMPS
AdminCP => Usergroups => Administrator Permissions
- [Edit Permissions]
-- Can Administer vBa CMPS [yes][no]
EX: LINKS
AdminCP => Usergroups => Administrator Permissions
- [Edit Permissions]
-- Can Administer vBa LINKS [yes][no]
*/
**NOTE: I do not own vBA LINKS so I have not tested that part of the hack. I have created it based on how CMPS was created.
- I changed cmps => links
- It should work on Links versions that work on vBulletin. v3.5x - v3.7x.
This is exactly what I was looking for, but I have a few problems.
I have vBadvanced CMPS v2.2.1 (vB 3.6.5)
#1 - There is not a forums/admincp/vba_gallery_admin.php, but there is a forums/admincp/vba_cmps_admin.php
#2 - There is no navgroup phrase="vba_cmps" permissions="canadminsettings" displayorder="15"> in cpnav_vbacmps.xml, BUT there is a <navgroup phrase="vba_cmps" displayorder="15" hr="true">
I kind of got it working by treating my number #1 example as the correct file and editing it accordingly + my inserting your line in my #2 example.
What is the proper way to do this for vBadvanced CMPS v2.2.1??
I would really like to use this hack on a permanent basis, so any help here would be appreciated.
Thanks
