Newbies don't see where to change the page
If I got a thread with multiple pages, then I ask myself, if new users find it easily to change the pages.
In fact, the clickable area to change pages in the lower right edge is very little. 1. Did you install mods on your board or did you change the design to make it clearer for newbies where they can change the page? 2. I also got one ad as the last post on a page and so there is another chance that a newbie doesn't sees where to change the page. Have you got a solution for that too? Perhaps second change-page-icons before the ad? Thanks a lot! Marcel |
1) No. Then again the target audience of the board I work on is neither the very young or the very old, so pretty much everyone on our site is capabale of recognising the page area.
2) Move the advert below the Page Nav? (There is also one a Page Nav at the top). Are you sure people are evening missing it? Or are you just presuming so? It would be best to ask your users before you change anything to see if what you are doing is worthwhile. |
