Paid Registration for Members

I am vaguely considering buying the vBulletin software, but really am only in the preliminary stages of anything.

However, even though it is way, way, WAY off in the future, if it is possible to set up the software so that members have to pay to register, and if that is available through Paypal (or some other site). Is that integration difficult?

This would NOT be a porn site.

I've been reading through that thread and I see it mentions the "subscription" feature. Is there a handy-dandy guide to all the vB features I can look through to my head around all this?
