How to integrate external data in member profile page?

Hi,

would it be possible to integrate external data (from Joomla/Community Builder) into member's profile page?

I have jooomla/CB and VB synched with a bridge but I'd like to enhance vb members' profiles with their uploaded videos/blogs posts/images taken from Community Builder's TABS/Joomla components.

Joomla and Vbulletin are on separate database but same server. Members have same username in Joomla and vbulletin.

Any suggestion? Thanks.:)

Joomla 1.0.15
vbulletin 3.7.2
php 5.2.5
mySql 5.0.51a

I haven't done it, but its certainly possible. What you would need to do is query joomla db for additional user info and merge it with the $userinfo array when viewing user profiles.

That's right. Any hint on how to do this? I'm a total php noob :(
I thought db queries must have done in VB plugins.
