Database error in vBulletin this weekend

I've had several emails to the admin this past weekend similar to the following:
I had trouble getting in also, but everything seems to be OK now.
Is this something that I need to be concerned about, or does this just happens once in a while?
Hal

If its a vhosted site, then you need to ask your host.

It basically means mysql wasnt running, mysql could of crashed or the host was restarting it for some reason.

Hi snakes1100,
Thanks for your reply. It's hosted on a Yahoo small business server.
I just need to know if this means that my data is corrupt or not.
Everything seems to be fine, but I really don't know what I need to look for either.
Thanks again,
Hal

If the tables arent marked as crashed and you didnt have to repair anything, i doubt that u lost any data, but if you arent backing up your database nightly, i would suggest u start doing so and contact yahoo about their server not working.

The server 'mysql' did not have MySQL running at that time or did not allow access from your server. Contact your host.

That usually happends when your host have more than one site using the MySQL engine at time .. and it haven't enought powa to run all instances at time ..

At this exact time someone in your forum get a error DB message and can't post anything.
