Like. hey! This is your 1st, (2nd, 3rd etc) post, have you thought about using the search engine first? And joining an existing thread?

ofcourse you can use notices for that. why looking for plugins when vb has it all !

There are modifications that check for similar threads, after the newbie enters a title. However this only works for small boards, because post cache needs to be turned off.

Yeah, I just created a notice, but I wouldn't mind a pop up reminder for people with low post counts creating a new thread..
