Huge problem after database error

I got a problem on my forum. My host got som big problems on the server that runs my forum. They had to move it to the last backup of my forum. When i tired to login as a admin, it diden't work. Now it does, but i still got a huge problem. When i try to make a new topic in a forum, it won't do that. The new topic turns into a reply the topic last posted.

I tried to delete all my forums and making them over again. But the same thing keeps happening. When i deleted all my forums shoulden't all my members got 0 posts? Well, they don't. They get the same number they got earlier, before the database error.

The database error ruined most of my forum. They had to take it back til the last backup, which was in earlie may. That meens i lost to months of posts. Any way to get that back i don't think, very sad :(

I need help with the questions above. please!

Disable any modifications running.

I have done that now, but i got the same problem making a topic. It just turns in to a reply on an old topic.

Create a New Style with Parent Style. Does your issue persist?

(Note: If you manually delete posts/threads you have to run the update the post/thread counters to reset the correct count for users)

What is the database error you are getting.

kstone 07-13-2008 12:45 PM

It all started after my MySQL06 vent down, according to my host. After that we got the same database error.

Are you getting any errors now? If you are, can you point us to the page that has it?

I get the database error a lot. I just have to reload page, but still a pain in the ass. The errors i get is the same. I try to create new topics, but they just turn into replys to old topics. In my forum board i only see one empty forum, but still new topic turns into replys to old topics. Is it possible to fix this by deleting all posts in my forum? How can i do this?
