edited by on posts displayed twice??
 

We have an odd problem on our forum at the minute. When ever one of the admin or moderators edits a post, the edited by message and reason is displayed twice. Does any body have any idea whats causing this and how to remedy it?

The forum is running 3.7.1 patch level 2

Have you customised your postbit (or postbit_legacy) template?

Check to make sure you haven't duplicated the Edit reason part.

I havent no. The only thing I have recently installed was a xml file to automatically alter the templates to display I trader details after I installed I trader. I wonder if this is causing it. could you please give me an idea of what im looking for in the templates? Im learning templates and codes at the minute and can sort it with a little guidance lol.

I have had a look at the postbit template. Im guessing i should only have one line of the code below??

Yes, it should only contain this code once, you can remove the duplicate.
