Token Error(solved)
 

I have a few members having problems with posting on my forum they get this..

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

I have made a new template with no parent styles yet people are still having this trouble. Can anyone help please..


I have logged in on a non staff account and have tried this both in IE and Firefox. Seem's I can post with FireFox but not IE.

Also I have the following as well.

Ok I have re-installed all files and did the upgrade. There are no old modifications there.

There is a new template as well with no parent style. I have logged in and tried to make a post with just a regular account... With firefox I can make a post with IE I can't make one. I get the token error.

I do still have a couple of errors in Admin panel. One is uninstalling an old modification but it has been disabled. I get this when I try to uninstall

Members still can not post.. I really need help with this..I am at a loss....

Disable your modifications and try again (Note: To temporarily disable your modifications see Help! I've broken my board!). If your issue persists create a New Style with no Parent Style, with your modifications still disabled, then check to see if your issue is resolved. (Both in Firefox and Internet explorer)

It seems the uninstall was stopped half through in the past or something. The best thing to do here would be to install the product again (Make sure you set Allow Overwrite: Yes) and then try the uninstall procedure again. (vBulletin is trying to remove columns that don't exist).

I'm not familiar with the term "newregistrant area" what is the name of the PHP file where this is occurring?

I have created a new style with no Parent, and have tried to post both in IE and Firefox. IE still gives the problem...

I was also told that there was a problem in my footer..

although is hasn't been customized...

So don't know if that is causing the issue or not..

Your footer template should have $cronimage in it as such:
I'm not sure why you do not have there, especially if you haven't customised the template.

Also can you post a link to your board? (and login credentials to post - send by PM if you wish).

I am getting the same token error. I cannot seem to figure it out. It happens right after someone new is forced to read the rules and agree to them. Then they hit the submit button, and it takes them to the following error.

I how ever do have lots of simple mods that i stay ontop of and update all the time. I also use a style that i downloaded from here. I have modded both my navbar, and footer. Navbar only added links to the bar, and footer added links, and a search cloud.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
