Avatar forum home quick fix

http://www.domain.com/customavatars/avatar$bbuserinfo[userid]_$bbuserinfo[avatarrevision].gif

The link above after researching will show a members avatar. How do I have it show that avatar but also detect if there is no avatar to display like no-avatar.gif?

Has to be some <if><else></if> statement I could quickly make?
