Member subscription question

I know VB has the member subscription built into it but I can only see the options to have the member access expire after pre-determined periods of time. Is there a way to make everyone expire on a specific date? Say someone pays for a club membership in June 12, 2008 and someone pays October 1, 2008... can we make both those expire on April 1, 2009 instead of giving a flat 1 month, 6 month, 12 months, etc.???
