Vbulletin.com couldn't help me(database issues)

This problem is caused by one of the changes your add-ons made to the database. I have checked everything in vB itself and it is not causing this problem

Of course we cannot provide support for problems caused by add-ons. Nonetheless if I had a fix for you, I would certainly share it. I suggest you try to ask for help with this over at http://www.vbulletin.org.

So vbulletin.com cant help and i have some database issue and they recommended me to go here and ask for help.

I had a issue where move feature isnt visible in random occurance for moderator. I reuploaded the vb original files and everything went fine. But i also did a Repair a feature that is included on admincp. That is when everything messed up. On admincp theres white background, i cannot save any new changes on admincp. Forum has ajax disabled (cant do quick reply, etc)despite that i have it enabled on admincp. And it alsocrashed my databse. Luckily that could be repaired however the remaining issues still there. The vbulletin staff said since i had add on they cant provide support. So im asking anyone here please help me. Unable to save any new changes on admincp is imposssible for me to manage my forum.

I did a clean install on a test forum and everything works as it is. So it means my current forum is the issue. the database that is.
Idid remove non vb files but still not working. Also uploaded Tools.php from Do_not_upload folder so ican import the vbulletin_style but still not working. Also disabled the mods

i have this mods installed

anyone please help?

If you are getting a database error view the error page html source code in your browser and paste the error here.

Else globally disable your modifications, see Help! I've broken my board! for information on how to do so.

no database errors now. its only ajax that has been disabled on all my forum-...admincp stillcant save any settings

like i mention on my thread i already disabled the mods

Opserty 07-09-2008 08:11 AM

Create a New Style with no Parent Style does this resolve you're ajax issue?

Does disabling your plugins enable you to save in your AdminCP? (By settings I presume you mean vBulletin Options?)

maidos 07-09-2008 08:11 AM

already created a default style still the same issue. my issues is on the database

no even if i disabled i still cant save any settings. no like allsettings on admincp. i cant even go anywhere further than vb options after that i cant click the text on vb options

Create a test account with a few Admin Privileges and PM me a link to your board along with the account details. I'll see if I can help.

i pm you my root account instead. But as i said database corrutptions maybe. I was hoping maybe overwrite the exisiting table that is using ajax on the forum and replace with the default ajax?maybe that would work

There seems to be a problem with your vbulletin. The databases are unstable. If
we repair one, one will be corrupted, it will go on and go on. I suggest that
you contact vb for help.

You can repair a database in phpmyadmin or in ssh, just go to the database
directory, cd /var/lib/mysql/admin_f0rum and then to repair, myisamchk -r
tablename.MYI.

Thanks
Bobby
