Avatars: mouse-over popup display
I'd like to set up my avatars so when users mouse over them the pop-up display---which currently reads "[username's] avatar"---shows the given name of the avatar instead. For example, I have avatars of famous landmarks, and would like "Mt. Rushmore" to pop up rather than "Fred's avatar."
I have over 500 custom avatars done to date, so obviously a global approach would be preferable to having to edit each one separately. A nudge in the right direction would be much appreciated. |
Generally not the "bumping" type, but I'm really interested in whether I can get this one done.
Thanks in advance for any help. |
One more try. :)
I can't believe I've stumped the band on this one--it seems like a mod others will have done before--so maybe it's just that my timing's been bad. Still hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance. |

That's a sweet hack, but unless I missed something in the description it isn't what I was asking about. I'm hoping to have the popup display not be to the user's profile, but to the avatar file name itself. Ideally, I'd also like to be able to have that file name popup eventually be a link to a full size version of the avatar on a pic gallery page I'm building. |
