registration issues
 

Hello-

I tried to register my username as "visiblesoul" which is the username I use on vbulletin.com and pretty much every other website in the world. However vbulletin.org would not allow this username. I searched but there is no current user with this username. I am curious why this is a reserved username here. It is not common. In fact I am pretty much the only person I have seen using it anywhere.

Also I sent an email via the https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/sendmessage.php a month or so ago when I was having registration issues and did not receive any response.

But at least I am successfully registered now and can finally see code examples. This was not an easy registration process.

There is already an account with that name, copied over from the old vb templates forum by the look of it.

But I am confused. I do not find any vbulletin.org forum account with "visiblesoul" as the username. Where do you see this user?

Also what was the domain of the "old vb templates forum"? I always use the domain name in my registration email address so maybe I could do a password recovery and get my old account back if I knew what the old URL was.

It's the lost password form on this site. The vBulletin Templates site was merged with vBulletin.org.

Maybe I am not being clear.

I use the domains for the websites on which I register in the email addresses I register with. However, I do not remember what the domain name is of the old "vBulletin Templates site" (as you all are calling it) so I do not know what email address to use in the "recover password" form. You see, I would have registered my username using the old domain in my email address. But I do not know what the old domain was so I do not know what email address to use for recover password on this site.

And I still do not find any account registered as "visiblesoul". Why can't anyone point me to the "visiblesoul" user profile? Maybe I do not understand the intricacies of this website but I would very much appreciate some help here.

The domain for the old template site was vBulletin-Templates.org or vBulletinTemplates.org (think it was the first).

PS Not all members are listed on the Member List.

Yes I do not find this account by searching members or by browsing the list alphabetically. But I do see the profile when I follow the direct link. This is not expected behavior. That is why I was confused by the responses above. Thanks for the URL.
